As a history professor with a keen interest in travel, especially in family-friendly locations, my recent stay at Schiffahrt was quite pleasant. Situated just by the picturesque lake, the hotel serves as a great base for exploring the area-ideal for families looking to engage in skiing on the Flums mountains or enjoy the water sports available in Mols. Traveling with my family, we appreciated the thoughtful amenities for young children, making our trip more enjoyable. Our rooms were clean and comfortable-perfect for unwinding after a day filled with activities. We chose to dine at the hotel's onsite restaurant, and the local dishes were well-prepared. My niece particularly loved trying spätzli for the first time, which was a delightful experience for all of us. Also worth mentioning is the friendly staff, who went out of their way to assist us. They really contribute to the welcoming atmosphere, which I believe is vital for families seeking a cozy spot for their vacation.
